African Adventures is an award winning volunteer travel company that's been organising life changing trips for people in the UK since 2009. I have been given an amazing opportunity to work with them and help change the lives of some fabulous children in Kenya, whilst also gaining invaluable life experience.
When out there I will be working alongside teachers to assist in the classroom environment and possibly even running a class myself.
I am feeling blessed and incredibly thrilled to be given such an amazing opportunity that will not only help me personally in building my confidence and my character, but will also support the long term development of the school, providing an education for children from underprivileged backgrounds. I cant wait to learn about the Kenyan culture and what inspires the children in their daily lives.
To enable me to do this it does not come cheap, so this is where I must now do the uncomfortable thing and ask for your financial assistance.
