Hi my name is Saalik. In June 2024 my school year will be heading over to Ghana to volunteer to help teach primary children in a rural town called Woe (pronounced Way).
The school there is government funded, however they are still severely lacking in resources and equipment.
I will be volunteering as part of a team who are teaching children various subjects as well as help build and maintain buildings and equipment they need over there to be able to have an education.
Through this volunteer program, not only do I get to travel but I also get to give back and help other people.
Raising the kind of money needed to travel is a huge task and £2100 is my goal.
Every small donation counts and I look forward to reporting back on the trip and achievements on return from Ghana.
