Hi everyone! My name is Aaliyah and I am a student at The Orme Academy. I have been given the amazing opportunity to volunteer in Zanzibar, where I will help local teachers in teaching sports and dance to students.
I currently play for Port Vale U13s and train at a local dance school, as well as competing in dance competitions. I am excited to show my skills and enthusiasm to Zanzibar, where I hope to inspire the students while also learning from them. This trip is a fantastic opportunity for help me to grow as a young person, gain more confidence and make an impact to a community in need.
To make this trip possible, I need your help! I am raising funds to cover the cost of my trip, which includes travel, accommodation and the necessary materials to help me to make the most of the educational experiences of the children I’ll be working with.
