Why am I going back to Ghana you ask?
Because when you find you can make such a difference to many lives in such a short time, why wouldn’t you?
Thanks to my main sponsors who helped me in 2024, SARAC, M-Piric and MacMartin I am truly grateful. The impact starts when you arrive at ‘The Young Shall Grow International’, swarmed with foster children who were taken off the streets, who remain here to be nurtured, this is before you start the volunteering experience at Tegbi EP school.
On the request of the Headteacher, education was delivered to the school around RSE (relationship sexual education). Anyone that knows the work I carry out here at SARAC, our delivery is around respect and accessibility.
We understood the need immediately. ...
A young lady suffering with a long standing chronic infection came forward, with no family or finances available. Our education helped her understand that she needed help and that help was there for her that very day. Within 24 hours and just the cost of a take away for you or I, her quality of life improved and she was able to continue with her studies.
This is just one of the many impact stories I can share with you....
So what next….. African Adventures saw the potential of this education beyond just one school, we wish to create a project that delivers this wider in Ghana.
I cant do this without your help :-)
If you have a business maybe you would like the option of becoming a T Shirt sponsor by donating £500, a great way of advertising alongside the journey
Or if you wish to donate something smaller - every little helps, I am grateful no matter how big or small
Please note - yes your donations help pay my travel to get there, in addition to this a percentage of your donation goes towards the building project at the school and some goes into the community But that said I give my time, experience and 100% dedication to making a change during the time out there
